OK here's the first of the positional break downs, I haven't altered the content very much on this one, but I might look to integrate some of the club based stuff at the bottom of ' Chelsea: The Transfer Market Story 2013 and beyond' later on.
Right Back:
We've recently been linked with Kyle Walker, Wallace from Fluminense (who we 40% own the contract of) and (occasionally) Sergio Ramos.
With Branislav Ivanovic, Cesar Azpilicueta, Todd Kane, Kenneth Omeruo, Joshua Debayo Temitayo-Olaoluwe Aina ( Josh Aina), Nortei Nortey, Alastair Gordon and Samuel Bangura I struggle to see any real need for any right backs, Walker is good but unlikely to leave Spurs, Wallace would be a good addition from what I've seen of him, but we don't need him in January. Ramos is the interesting one here, he is Real Madrid in many ways, but Abramovich is a noted long term Ramos admirer and Ramos does seem unhappy at RM . I'm not sure I believe he'll be leaving Madrid in January and even if he does I'm not sure I want him at Chelsea, but I don't think he can be 100& discounted.
A few others to think about: Serge Aurier (young Cote D'Ivoire and Toulouse star), Francisco José Rodríguez Gaitán (young Real Madrid and Spain sensation) and Ximo Navarro (22 year old Spaniard at RCD Mallorca seen by Barca as their ideal Dani Alves replacement)
