Report: Phillip Prosenik to join AC Milan
Reports out of Italy this morning are suggesting that Chelsea academy product Phillip Prosenik has agreed to join AC Milan. Some tweets from the player himself would seem to confirm those reports as well. Prosenik has suffered an unfortunate series of serious knee injuries and concussions that have limited the young Austrian to very few appearances in a Chelsea shirt. Prosenik was due to be out of contract in June, so he was free to negotiate with other clubs on a pre-contract agreement. There is no word if Prosenik will be released from his contract immediately, but it would seem to be the common sense approach at this point.
For those of you not familiar with the youngster, Prosenik is a big physical prototypical center forward. He holds the ball up well, is known for his strength, and is good in the air. The young Austrian was certainly an interesting prospect who probably missed his chance here due to injury. Luckily for Chelsea, we have a fairly similar type of striker and far more physically gifted prospect in Romelu Lukaku. Best of luck to Prosenik in Italy, the style of play there seems far more suited to his game than most other leagues would.

Unrelated but
It’s still about a reserve player. It looks as though Lucas Piazon is travellig with the squa to the Swansea game. Doubt he will actually get any game time but still, he’s seems to be progressing rather well.

This has been mentioned in like 4 different threads now.
We all realize that he’s just going to sit on the bench, right? AT BEST.
hope he plays:)
doubt it, but it would be awesome

And here I thought Prosenik's greatest asset was his speed
Of course, I can’t even recall that last time I saw him play…
