Impressed with Lucas Piazon? Chelsea FC certainly are...
An interesting bit of news out of Cobham today involves youngster Lucas Piazon. Piazon agreed to move to Chelsea last spring but has already impressed the coaching staff enough that the club has locked him up long term. The official website today released a statement informing us that the player and club have reached an agreement to extend his contract until June 2017. No word on what he'll be paid, but it's certainly encouraging to see that the club rates him this highly.
Lucas has been playing very well at both the youth and reserve levels this season, he found the scoresheet again on Monday afternoon. Depending on how the season plays out it would not surprise me to see Piazon get his debut this spring should we have some fairly meaningless games during the run in. I'd also expect those of us in the US will get a healthy dose of Piazon when the club comes this way in the summer. Congratulations to Piazon, keep up the good work.

Any video footage
from the reserve game against Norwich City? Seems like quite a good match and would like to see Feruz’s brace!
The highlights are up on Chelsea TV
That second Feruz goal was fantastic. Excellent work by Lalkovic.
I wonder how the strong-looking Norwich Reserves (with first team coaches all about) felt about getting destroyed by a 16-year-old! :P
Do we know yet where in the US they'll be coming?
Must see my blues.

See you boys in either Philly or Chicago
I’ll be the incredibly drunk one. Drunk off happiness, that is.

Someday, a team I want to see will come to Chicago!
I know some will travel anywhere in the U.S., but the Midwest is my only real option, and that means Chicago.

Is there no word on a visit to the great white north?
5 Up, 5 Down - A uniquely unofficial look at the comings and goings of Chelsea FC and the EPL
When people say 'Great White North'...
…They use ‘great’ to mean big, rather than to mean good, right?
what are the chances we try to loan him out next season?
this is all very exciting btw
Everyone who's complaining about Chelsea not coming to parts of the States
They’ve not come down to India yet :(
Seriously man...Even I'm waiting for them to come over here in India...its gonna be a dream come true

At least we got to see Bayern
This shows standards of football are rising in India. I can live with that and dreaming I will got to London in the next 5 years.

Yeah they were too good for us
At moments Nuer was standing near the half line.
But the atmosphere was amazing and it was an awesome feeling.
At moments?
That was about 85 mins
