John Terry Claims Knee Is Fine Despite David Luiz's Best Efforts
David Luiz's spell of insanity during Chelsea's third-round FA Cup match against Portsmouth looked as though it would cost us a goal and then after he was bailed out by John Terry looked as though it would cost us the captain as well. Fortunately, it turns out that Terry's fine. Mostly. Ish.
I have been struggling with the other knee but I clattered into the post with my right knee. All is fine. It's a little bit swollen but I am sure with the couple of days off we have, it will heal.

With Branislav Ivanovic still out of action and Alex currently whizzing past Sedna at 0.08c after being unceremoniously catapulted out of the squad by Andre Villas-Boas, we really could do without the centre backs hurting themselves (or, indeed, each other). Gary Cahill's supposed to be around soon, so that'll alleviate some of the pressure on Terry to play through injuries, but I'd really like to get back to that squad rotation we were promised at the beginning of the year.
Also, DL? STOP DOING THAT.

It kinda surprises me everytime
that in so many threads here and there, Torres will pop up in the middle of nowhere. No other player up to date in Chelsea’s history managed that :P
Tor ilisar'thera'nal!
Well, at least they note that it is OT, haha
I suppose folks should use fanshots for that, no? I almost did one once for the holiday video or something.. or maybe it was the Beiber video. But then I got lazy. Bad me!
The FanShots don't have much audience
understandable, because you have to scroll down, way down, to see them. Putting up a comment and writing “TORRES!!!!!!!” in the headline will grant attention, it seems (not always by people who want to discuss sensibly; but if that fails, you can still go for the trolls). OK, maybe things could turn out differently if you put up a headline aka “Torres **** image” or something … kinda rickrolling (Torresrolling sounds great!). I know putting up a headline “[insert female film star] * picture” certainly works

Luiz pops up where he's not expected all the time...

I'm back and forth on the squad rotation
Part of me thinks that you need solid communication amongst the team, and we have a hard enough time creating that in a pretty common starting 11. But, I think it is key to season-long success… I just think the entire squad is somehow not comfortable enough playing with one another fluidly. I don’t know how you nurture that and if you can if it isn’t there, and maybe some folks just need fine tuning and some others yet just dont fit in and wont change… it seems to be one of those things that is carefully considered in other lines of business in the hiring process, but not always given much thought in sports.
I suppose that I am alright with having a somewhat consistent starting team for the remainder of the season, not too consistent… and then hopefully seeing this transfer window and the summer’s contribute to AVB getting closer to the kind of team he envisions.
Read somewhere that Cahill will sign in the next 24 hrs
But been reading that for the past week,so no big deal. But just wanted to express a thought-why not Lazio’s Hernanes for a deep lying playmaker? He should be available at a pretty reasonable price, too…
