I think we can probably throw out all of the London clubs that are not Tottenham Hotspur or Arsenal, because apart from us, they're the only ones with the resources to afford a player like Benayoun so close to the deadline. Realistically, all this means is that Liverpool drop out of the race, and with Arsenal making some noise about a loan deal it wouldn't be too much of a shock to see Benayoun signing on the dotted line at the Emirates Stadium soon.
