Thought it was about time to round up the latest tall tales and myths. We have some great rumors this week from some new players. Let's get right into it.
Zdravko Kuzmanovic: Some stray rumours this week briefly linked up to Stuttgart's midfielder. He's actually not bad and would come reletively cheap. However, you can say the same thing for A LOT of players. We'll see if any more rumours pop up about him.
Eduardo Vargas: The young Chilean reminds me of Barcelona's Alexis Sanchez (It didn't take much effort to make that comparison). Would honestly love to see him at Chelsea, very cheap for a South America talent. The typical equation for a South America Phenom is to take his actual value and multiply it by three.
Lazar Markovic: The young Serb recently professed his admiration for Chelsea in a recent interview. I believe Graham has touched on this before, it's nice to think about how young players are growing up in an era when Chelsea is a power. We could see more players like Lukaku who are fans of Chelsea as young lads (with pictures of Salomon Kalou on their walls). Oh, and the Markovic kid is pretty good.
Danijel Pranjic: The ever ridiculous Daily Star reported this one. Not sure if the Bayern Munich left back would really fit into our youth plans at all at 30 years old. Also, I'm always skeptical of rumours claiming big clubs selling players.
Luka Modric: Ever since the end of the last transfer window various papers have been reporting that we will return for Modric. Compared to some other things they report this one seems more reasonable. However, I not sure how Daniel Levy will be more willing to deal.
Thiago: He signed a new contract with a Hulk-like release clause so I'm not sure why he's even being mentioned.
Rolando: Reports of us purchasing all Porto players including their training ground never really came to fruition. However, Caughtoffside.com has us returning in January for Rolando, their rock solid center back. Not bad, might be a better option than Cahill. However, Porto seemed peeved at us for stealing AVB so I'm not sure if they'll be willing to deal.
Sami Khedira: He's being playing recently so I don't really see this coming together. Would rather have Topal from Valencia.
Salomon Kalou: Latest reports have Arsenal ACTUALLY PAYING MONEY for Kalou. I can't help but think that this could just be a cruel prank from Arsene Wegner.
Andre Ayew: Finally, I've been waiting for this link for a while now. Ayew has been a monster this year and would be great for our attack. Strong, swift, and creative are words that come to mind when describing his play.
