PrintIt started when one WAGNH member asked where he could find Chelsea wallpapers and I volunteered and created one. It worked well, so I think that's a fine idea I could follow - creating wallpapers on request, since googling for Chelsea Wallpapers isn't always an easy thing, chances are you don't find any wallpapers you like, with your favorite player, with the background you like, in the resolution you want ...
So may I present proudly: The Wallpaper Request section of WAGNH. If you have a special wish for a wallpaper: post it here. Say which players you want, your desired resolution, what you want for the background ... and me the cunning artist (grin) will try to
I'm a hobbyist artist, no professional artist. So chances are my artistic skills are more limited than you might think. I post my creations here and update them ... Expect my creations to be all on that level. If you request a wallpaper, do it seriously - because you want to have your favorite players on your desktop, and not because you think it's a funny idea to keep me busy. I don't add tags to the wallpapers and generally with everything you find on the internet feel free to do with it what you like, but be sure I won't be happy to see if you take my works and claim them as your own.
Besides creating wallpapers, I do also paint portraits of Chelsea players and do photomontages. So if you come up with a good idea for a photomontage joke - similar to what you find week in week out in the guardian gallery, let me know and I will see what I can do with it, since I always enjoy a good idea for a nice Photoshop task. If you have a request about a player painting chances are I will ignore you (painting a portrait eats up serious amounts of my time); but of course you could try nonetheless. If you wanna see a cute David Luiz painting chances are I will do one.

Requesting memes works the same way as wallpapers. Many memes I do on my own, if you wish one then tell me your idea, and I may do it. Since I don't use standardized meme creators I can create memes that those meme generators won't be able to create. I post all my Chelsea related memes here, too - so feel free to use them in your comments if you see fit!

I’d love it if the players were in the same style as they were in second banner, with the Bridge (and maybe the ribbony blue light? :D) as it is in the first one. Also, if I’m not asking too much (because I’m afraid that I am :P) could you put the CFC logo as a watermark in the middle?

I definitively put Guten Morgen geezer on it - count on it!
If you wouldn’t mind I’d leave out the watermark in the middle because it wouldn’t fit in the composition in my mind. Do you want all the players in the current Chelsea kit (OK, for Studge, Mata and Romeu this is a no-brainer) or can I use JT and Frank and Didier in past Chelsea kits (they all look cuter in past Chelsea kits)?
And last but certainly not least – I need the exact resolution. Otherwise I’m not getting started on anything :D

In case you are not sure → right click on the desktop, and go to “resolution” or something like this and find out
or if you like it the complicated way
press “print” on your keyboard, open up a graphic program (paint would be the default if you didn’t install anything) and click on new. Chances are it will tell you immediately. If you still don’t know what to do – paste – post the image on an image hoster, post the link here and let me or anyone else tell you the resolution. If you have the latest FHM lady on the desktop chances are I’ll start flaming (I usually do). If you have David Luiz on your desktop I’ll start giggling. And so on …

Update on your wallpaper Guten Abend geezer
Now seriously: I can’t find a suitable Danny Sturridge photo that would fit into the wallpaper. Strangely enough, Danny has scored most of our goals but whenever I type his (or any other Chelsea player’s) name into google, it gives me Fernando Torres :(
I only found one picture Danny together with Ramires and you could take this, or you could choose another player. In case you wanna know with which player it’ll be easiest, that’s simple: Fernando Torres. Type in something like Chelsea EPL 2011 into google and Torres is smiling at you. That’s magic!

Don’t worry about Torres’ future – the unpredictable elusive wallpaper badass will fix this if Torres leaves so you don’t have to worry with a player who’s not with us on your desktop. Chances are anyhow Didier is leaving before Torres will, and in this case, I’d fix it, too!

Since it’s kind of sad, I don’t think anyone would like to have it as a wallpaper, so I left it as a generic picture.
It can be easily converted into a wp though, I just have to cut out the basket and brush some special effects over it

Problem is
well it’s not really a problem. I thought this section more as a typical request section – you want a certain wallpaper you can’t find on the net, and I create one for you. Of course we can turn it into a generic wallpaper download section – eat or die – but that was not the original idea behind this. There are many Chelsea site with wallpaper sections, just it may happen you don’t find the one you like there. I wanted to make something different, more unique.
But of course if you folks want it as a generic gallery that would be no problem for me, either. And it’s Christmas :D

however both pictures you posted aren’t big enough for a wallpaper. Unless you want me to scale it up so it ends up blurry. I don’t like that, but if you are OK with that I could do it, too. And with that kind of resolution, hair strands will look horrible

I just post it here temporarily … it will be moved once any Charsenal threads get active again … it’s not completely off topic because it’s Chelsea related graphical stuff as well …
Well – yeah don’t tell I could have waited and so on … why did I need to hurry to put this up today (oh no it’s tomorrow already local time. Sh*t. Damn you 24 hour day!). After work I had the idea – yeah let’s do a kit – but then it turned out much MUCH much more difficult than I imagined it to be. So instead of just “I take a T-Shirt model and retexture it” – yeah – I had to start from zero, so to speak. Necessarily with those difficulties, the end result is sh*t, of course, but I NEED to put a full-stop. Right now! It might only give you an idea. I ended up painting most areas myself by hand.
Ah yes, and: the label (brand) is only a dummy, and I didn’t incorporate SBN as sponsor. Not yet. The crest isn’t the official one, but one of my own creations, and it looks weird I need to fix it.

The cloth simulator didn't simulate jersey as good as I wanted it to do
so I had to “brush” in most of the folds myself. In the region of the chest with the fonts, I couldn’t do that, that’s why the cloth looks so badly there

That was Kevin's design
but I suggested to change it a bit – so I did a blue one with purple stripes. That look preserves Arsenal’s distinct white sleeve look, adding Chelsea colours, and adds stripes on the side (beneath the sleeves, only slightly visible on my simulation due to Fernando’s pose) reminiscent of Arsenal colours. If Kevin would come and look, maybe he could tell us what he thinks of that, since he still is the master shirt designer :D

Sorry I’m too late … then what about purple with blue stripes? I mean side-stripes … you can’t see them directly due to Fernando’s pose, but you see hints of purple. I could do a colour swap

because my 3D model is so shit and therefore difficult to colour on the edges.

Essentially, yes. Any pattern of blue and red just looks too...
…much like Barcelona for my comfort, and makes the badge look bad. Having blue, even with the sleeves, seems like Chelsea bought Arsenal, and started using their style. Purple has enough balance for me between Arsenal-ness and Chelsea-ness. Plus, very few teams use the colour, so it would go a long way toward establishing a new identity for the combined club.

But the colour I saw on your kits originally
were too purple so to speak, leaning too much towards red and too far away from blue. A more violet tone, more towards royal blue would perhaps suit better. I look what I can do!
(Technically Royal Blue isn’t really blue, but a more violet tint)

…blue-shifted a lot as it is. By average, I mean I took the average of the RGB values of the red and blue. I know that’s really a proper process, but it’s what I did. I would have made it more blue, but it looked too similar to this year’s Spurs away. The “average” was West Ham claret, so I had to find something good between the two.

Doesn't the Chelsea blue have some tints
of green, too? For some reason I’m quite unhappy with the tone … and I think if you do have nothing against the side stripes we could make the overall kit violet and leave one blue and one red stripe with the original colours. Don’t know how good it will look, but that will be reminiscent of the Chelsea and Arsenal colours!

The side stripes work for me.
I’m going to have to stand firm on the shade of violet, though. Too much blue doesn’t really do it for me. As much as I, as a Chelsea fan, would like it to be more blue, I think the shade I’ve used is the best combination of Arsenal red and Chelsea blue.

Shall I do a photomontage like above – or do you prefer a plain 3D view of the shirt? The plain view will show the stripes better and I can choose the angle, the photomontage is more difficult to do but looks more life-like

Yes, but the problem is
the original model (pre-simulation) has some faults. I need to see if I can correct them in 2D … I took a very simple and bad T-Shirt model because I didn’t want to spend hours to create my own model (well the way I did it now I spent way more time) and I tweaked the model myself, but did it badly. Either I need to correct this (the neckline is heavily faulted) or I need to see if I can fix it once I rendered the picture, but curiously after the simulation the neckline looks about fine … :D

I guess the dummy model would be the best solution (run the simulation, but not shop the shirt onto Fernando’s body to fit) but I could be wrong, as always. I’ll see what comes out. Maybe it’s just easier than I thought. Many things are :D

I didn't do much about the lighting yesterday
I just looked it OK for the front shot. We know what the colour was like; it was more important to give a shot at the side stripes. And as nobody (and especially you ;)) complains, I take it’s OK?

and yeah there is no shitstorm over our sour and drab performance today. Maybe Charsenal would have fared better?
I did a new version of the shirt, and I wanted to upload it yesterday but SBN lagged and closed down the comments. Well. Here it is now. This is a new model, and as you can see it looks better than the old plain shirt model. Colour still looks weird, though. I need to correct that. I used the colour you picked
directly via the pipette tool. But as I only have influence on the texture, and the texture went through the rendering process and I postworked the rendering again … so of course it can’t be a 1:1 match at the end.
I have to see how to work on the SBN logo on the shirt … hope the largest SBN logo I could find here is big enough so it doesn’t look weird.
And the next artwork I’d probably do is a “real” one, directly from a match

Well this is a bit confusing
since this isn’t what I imagine a cartoon to be. This is simply a cheap artistic/stylistic photoshop filter (charcoal? Might be) running over a somewhat one-coloured blurry background and nothing special, really ;)

I wanted to tell you this is what I have in my mind. Try changing the resolution(of the one you made) that might be helpful.

I don’t specifically wnat Stamfor Bridge I want something that is animated/cartoon-ish and I think it will look better if it’s white and blue and I think you should make the image on the original resolution rather then resizing it.

Don’t tease me about the pathetic rough sketch I suck in drawings and all. The red part should be the cropped DL and the background to be the animated Stamford Bridge.
First make the animated Stamford Bridge with a bigger resolution and more dark colours (by which I don’t mean use colours like black or brown but use a darker shade of blue) and then crop DL and add it to that.
Well I spent considerable amount of time reading all the comments
And could make out that…There exists one more female around here, and she is trying to mingle with a guy/gal/unknown.

I can't work anything out in Chelsea shirts
but if you don’t mind Courtois and De Bruyne in other shirts, then I could see if I can do. Would that be OK for you, too?

He swapped with one of the Chelsea players after we played Genk in the CL. Probably none for Courtois, though.
That picture is probably not big enough for
a wallpaper, if there exists one at all. Maybe the photographers even didn’t catch him
