It's human nature to desire a good laugh every once in a while. As football fans, one of the main ways we achieve this is through a quick glance of the papers and middling websites (I see you CrunchSports.com). It's Stephen's job to give wonderful in depth analysis on potential transfer targets that we could soon see at the Super Megadeals Samsung Mobile Arena. It's the papers job to give ridiculous ideas of transfer targets in three paragraph form. So let's see what these papers have been conjuring up:
Romelu Lukaku To Villarreal: I swear, if I see another Romelu Lukaku loan story I might have to take physical action against the perpetrators (Okay not really).
Sergi Roberto: Interesting with a low buyout clause, however prying prospects from Barcelona is like taking a bright red toy from a toddler, it typically doesn't work (Unless you agree to give the player back if he becomes, in any way, talented).
Fernando Llorente: Llorente is a great player who should probably be getting more looks from the Spanish National Team. While enticing, we really don't need to be spending 20 million (that's about one dollar in Abramovich money for those keeping track) on a striker right now.
Drogba or Anelka to A.C Milan: I believe it when I see it if a veteran Chelsea player actually leaves the club. They'll probably be re-signed to matching five year deals.
Javi Martinez: He's a great young La Liga prospect not a Barcelona. So this must mean were going to lose out to Real Madrid only to have them ruin his development and dump him off in two years.
A little bit of humor for everyone. Which one of these rumors sounds the least likely (besides Lukaku)?
