Chelsea fans love Branislav, and apparently he loves Chelsea as well.  According to the Guardian, Ivanovic has decided to put pen to paper and extend his stay for four more seasons for a 65,000 pound per week salary.  Ivanovic extending his stay with the club certainly helps with our defensive depth going forward, as he should just be finishing with the prime years of his career when his current deal expires.  His versatility ought to lessen our need to overspend to fill a specific hole in the defense, allowing us to simply target the best player available going forward.
